Generative Brand Direction
Grit is an experiment in brand concepting, exploring how generative imagery can be used to curate a bespoke and ownable brand aesthetic. By combining strategy, design and motion with emerging image making tools, the project investigates how a complete outdoor performance brand can be imagined, developed and brought to life.
Graphic & Motion Language
The visual language draws inspiration from weather systems, topographic mapping and the rhythm of movement through varied terrain.
Graphic elements shift, distort and layer in response to motion, creating a system that feels dynamic without becoming decorative. Motion extends the identity beyond static assets, using transitions, texture and environmental behaviours to reinforce the feeling of persistence through changing conditions.
Generative Image Direction
Generative AI formed an integral part of the creative process, used as an art direction tool helping define, landscapes, colour palettes and brand tone. This approach accelerated concept development and created a shared visual reference that could inform photography, film and future creative production.
Digital Experience
The identity was designed with digital applications in mind, where movement, interaction and responsiveness become part of the brand experience. Interfaces extend the motion language through animation, environmental transitions and immersive product storytelling, creating a sense of momentum throughout the customer journey.
