When The Calling approached us to help orchestrate McLaren’s big moment in Korea, we knew it had to be something special. They were unveiling a special edition of the Artura Spider at an ultra-exclusive red carpet event, tailored just for McLaren’s UHNW audience. The goal was to reintroduce McLaren to the region and bring the excitement and prestige of the brand to life in a way that felt as dynamic as the car itself.
Inside the 3 week deadline we delivered a 90 second film and stills along with a large scale interactive installation from concept to live.
Cinematic Retouch & Grade
High-resolution, finely detailed stills were crafted with a cinematic grade as part of the project. From 3D through to compositing and final grading, every detail was considered to ensure the printed images captured the imagination of a passing audience.
A Cultural Canvas
As we brought the McLaren experience to life, we drew deep inspiration from Korea’s rich cultural landscape. The delicate beauty of cherry blossoms and the timeless elegance of Seoul’s architecture, from its historic quarters to its modern skyline, all flowed together into our creative framework.
We wanted every touchpoint to echo that sense of place, from a gesture-based interactive moment where guests could engage with digital cherry blossoms to the 3D animations that framed the entire experience. It all came together to create something that felt authentically Korean and unmistakably McLaren.
Playful Elegance
What made the experience truly magical was the way we wove in a sense of playful elegance. Using Unity, we created a generative system that brought a murmuration of digital cherry blossoms to life. These blossoms echoed the silhouette and graceful lines of the Artura Spider, and as guests moved through the space, they could interact with this virtual flurry.
It was a moment of quiet, personal delight before the big reveal, an elegant and almost whimsical prelude that made the entire event feel that much more personal and memorable.

In the end, the event unfolded as a private showcase for a select circle of Seoul’s most influential and ultra-high-net-worth guests. They were the first to witness the Korea-inspired colorways of the Artura Spider, making the entire evening not just a brand statement but a truly unforgettable experience.
