Translating Complex Science
ONAVA operates in a space defined by complexity, precision and possibility. Our challenge was to build a brand that could hold the depth of their science, while making it feel clear, credible and accessible to the people it needs to reach.
We developed the identity across logo, typography, visual language, digital experience and supporting brand assets, creating a system that feels technically rigorous but still human. The result is a brand presence that brings structure to a complex subject, translating next-generation therapeutics into a visual language with clarity, energy and ambition.
A Visual System With a Technical Engine
A key part of the identity was the creation of bespoke 3D assets that could express ONAVA’s scientific world without relying on overly literal or conventional biotech imagery.
These forms became a bridge between complexity and communication, giving abstract therapeutic concepts a sense of depth, movement and materiality. Designed to feel precise yet organic, they add richness across the brand system, from digital touchpoints to social content.
As part of this, we also built a custom generative tool that could take protein inputs and produce scientifically accurate visual content around antigen binding. Rather than creating a fixed library of biotech assets, ONAVA now has a system that can generate new visuals as their data, research and communication needs evolve.
This gave the project a strong design foundation, with a deeply technical execution sitting underneath it. A balance of design, science and code.
